We teach the why behind every movement.

Every coach at Empact is expected to do more than demonstrate a movement and count reps. They're expected to explain the mechanics, correct technique in real time, and make sure you leave every session knowing exactly what you did and why it matters.

That's what our members mean when they say personal coaching in a group environment. It's not a marketing line. It's how we run every session.

Co-founder · Head Coach

Nizar has over 15 years of coaching experience spanning strength and conditioning, athletic performance, and group training. He built Empact from the ground up as one of Toronto's first strength-focused boutique gyms — at a time when everyone said it wouldn't work.

His coaching philosophy is simple: teach people to move well, then teach them to move heavy.

Nadine is the co-founder and co-architect of everything Empact is — the programming, the culture, the community. Members describe training with Nadine as encouraging without being soft: she pushes you, but never past the point of purpose.

Her coaching creates the kind of environment where beginners feel safe and experienced athletes feel challenged — both in the same class, at the same time.
